Wibble Wobble

Dear Reader,

If you were to visit this webpage you would find a grossly hyperbolic article about a work of sound, recently created by ourselves for Bompas and Parr's architectural jelly banquet, to be held at the UCL quad on friday the 4th of July. You may also have heard said sounds on radio 4's "Today" programme this morning.

Yours oscillatorically,

E&V.

UPDATE- Thursday 3rd saw E&V featured in the Times on page 5, and here is another mention (and listenable 'movement').

Blimey! That jelly on the video sounds quite disturbing - like a fat arse being slapped with small cricket bats. Or something.

National news! Well done sir. I think you should combine the sound of jelly with the hauntological porn soundtrack - imagine the joyousness that might ensue...

exactly - the jelly music sounds a lot more corporeal than the hauntoporn, but of course that's the point i suppose...

The soundtrack gets a mention in the THE as well. No jelly sounds with the porn! That would be...obscene. Is there an mp3 of the sounds anyway, btw?

Obscene? Unlike a room full of people watching people old enough to be their great grandparents engage in sex acts on scratchy celluloid...?

Haunted jelly would be the sound equivalent of China Mieville's Skulltopus - the thing that unites two apparently opposed elements of contemporary aesthetics
